Denmark vs England

Denmark-vs-England-euro2024Denmark takes on England at the Deutsche Bank Park stadium in Frankfurt on Thursday evening in a game that looks likely to define Group C. Denmark looked like they were going to get off to the perfect start when they went 1-0 up against Slovenia thanks to a well taken Christian Eriksen goal. It wasn’t to be, though, as Slovenia fought back to equalise, and the game ended all square. If results don’t go their way, Denmark could be in third place by the end of the day, so there’s a bit of pressure to get at least a point out of this.

Carrying the title of bookies favourites may have gotten to England in their opener with Serbia on Sunday. A promising first half was followed by a disappointing second in which Serbia were arguably the better side. Gareth Southgate’s men held on and took the points, though, so a win here will all but guarantee progression. Southgate is also expected to shuffle his pack a little, with the experiment of playing Trent Alexander-Arnold in central midfield not paying off. However, Jude Bellingham shone throughout the game and, after scoring the winner last time out, will be full of confidence.

This will be another competitive matchup in Group C of the Euro 2024 betting coupon, but England is a worthy favourite at the odds. Don’t expect a high scoring game in this one, it’s more likely to be a tactical affair. Rather than opting for England just to win, the match result and both teams to score market seems more appropriate here. Bakoyo Saka was electric in the first half on Sunday, we fancy him to replicate that and get his name on the scoresheet. Morten Hjulmand doesn’t shy away from a tackle and is our pick to get a card in the game.
